Epic stuff right here!
I haven't started working on any further episodes yet, so expect at least a short break for now. Still, I think you'll agree this is a good point to leave off at. I'll put the 11-20 batch up tomorrow.
Also, here are XviD versions of the last two episodes courtesy of Anime Magic Box:

Pretty Cure Splash Star 22
And finally we get to the good stuff!
Sorry, I just have a tendency to love these kinds of episodes. Enjoy!

Thanks a lot to those who are seeding the batch torrent! It's much better not having to try and seed over 2GB on my meagre connection.
And now, it's episode 21! After some consideration, I decided to put the non-karaoke sub track as the default from now on (since it's more compatible for more people), but if you're attached to the karaoke you can still watch it by switching to subtitle track #2.
Also, someone has uploaded XviD versions of episodes 18-20 for direct download:
Episode 18
Episode 19
Episode 20
They seem pretty good, although the karaoke is broken (though that shouldn't be a problem from now on). The site itself also has direct downloads of older episodes if you want them.

Pretty Cure Splash Star 1-10 batch
More episodes coming very soon. In the meantime, I've put up a long overdue batch of episodes 1-10, which will be followed by a batch of 11-20 hopefully in a few days. I'd really appreciate it if anyone who has the files would help seed this, since otherwise it's going to be quite a while before it's seeded.
Pretty Cure Splash Star 20
Time to get wet and muddy in yet a third new episode of Pretty Cure Splash Star!
Someone commented saying the video went out of sync during the opening and ending credits. In this episode I've included a second subtitle track without the karaoke effects -- could you try it out and let me know if it's any better? (I have noticed that a lot of mkv fansubs don't use karaoke effects, or hardsub them.)

Pretty Cure Splash Star 19
Yup, it's another one! Not much more to say except that you should read the note about the last episode if you haven't already.

Pretty Cure Splash Star 18
Yeah, I know, slowest fansub ever.
This episode is a bit of an experiment. Like a lot of current fansubs, it's an x264 mkv file instead of the usual XviD, which means you get a much smaller file size for equivalent quality plus other little perks like soft subs and chapters. It's slightly quicker and easier for me this way as well.
Feedback on this would be much appreciated. Is compatibility a problem (i.e. are there a lot of people out there who still can't play these types of files, justifying a separate XviD release)? Is there any noticeable reduction in video quality based on how I've encoded this episode? Does everything work and display okay?
If I do release XviD versions in future I'm likely to reduce the file size anyway, since 230MB seems needlessly unwieldy when the raws aren't especially great to begin with...
